Fatality review teams conduct multidisciplinary reviews to gain a clearer understanding of the risk and protective factors contributing to a death.
The Adult National Fatality Review – Case Reporting System (Adult NFR-CRS) is managed by the National Center for Fatality Review and Prevention (National Center)
to collect information from the multidisciplinary fatality review. Users of the Adult NFR-CRS enter data from their fatality review meetings so that their findings
can be used at the local, state and national level. Findings from fatality reviews guide program, service and policy efforts that improve the health and safety of a community.
